Fate... - Poem by Savannah Alexander
My agony melted away into darkness, burning, choking and suffication have no longer strangled me. My mind with sudden emptiness now sleeping in this sea of silence. Then suddenly a glimmer of bright light slowly approaching me, coming into my prescense. In this moment I breathe, coughing, gasping for air, fighting for life, now able to utter a sound. I breathe again, I breathe deeply, inhale, exhale, feeling at once complete. The tides that linger between time and fate...I live, I live.
