Fate Poem by Robert Dunbar

Fate

I’m sorry for all the hurt and pain I‘ve caused you,
I know I have been an idiot but I want to start a new.

We argued all the time and I was never there,
But being without you I really can not bare.

I understand why your moving on with your life,
But all I want and hope for is for you to be my wife.

I have a lot of making up to do if you will give me the chance,
But I know the new me can bring back our romance.

I hope one day you will forgive me and give us another go,
I made a mistake and I'm sorry, I've never been this low.

I hope the rest of your day is absolutely great,
Me and you being together is what I would call fate.
