Fate Poem by Claire Johnson

Fate

One day.
One night.
They have passed,
and I'm almost gone.
Trying to push through,
but not finding a way.
Wondering what life really is,
if it's worth all this pain.
Days pass,
and still this hole is darker.
Watching for some light,
but gave up hope long ago.
The world is a dim and dark place,
and you'll never find rest in it.
Life happens;
stories start, stories end,
and somehow you find yourself,
but then lose yourself again.
It's all a circle.
A circle called Fate.
