Fate Or Sparrow Poem by Uche Nduka

Fate Or Sparrow

A silver beech shakes us
into the light as we ramble
through a graveyard

Fishes swim to reach
the joy of getting blinder

What use is this love
if it's impenetrable

Death is only half the glory

You had a chance to load
the night and you blew it
