Father Poem by kobby godgift

Father

You Who dwells in and are the forever day
You in whose presence night can never stay
Are the everlasting and endless Father
The only One worthy enough to bear this name
A name that none bestowed or imparted upon You
A name that has been and will forever be Yours for as long as You remain the Alpha and Omega
You Who is our eternal Maker
The Source and Beginning of all that there is, our Alpha
The Finality and Ending of all as well, our Omega
From the Within You made the without
Yet You dwell on the within of that which is without
You are the All-knowing and Ever-seeing One, our one Spectator and Audience
Our Eternal Orchestra-tor
You Who writes and directs the course of the Supernatural and Natural Choruses
You build for the minutest minion its safe haven
And cut the path through which the ant treads to that seemingly forgotten
Sugar piece You intentionally left there for it and it alone
You shield the sparrow from the rain to which it is prone
The same rain You cause to fall on the great Sequoia
Which You have nursed since from when it was but a seedling
Your sun You shine on the tiniest bud of sunflower
And in Your presence the Rose of Sharon grows to its fullest beauty and bloom
You guide and guard even the backward flight of the hummingbird
The Ultimate Provider
You feed both the lion and the herring
The shark and the beetle
The worm and the seagull
The eagle and the eel
The salmon and the bear
For You are all in all and You give to all
Your love is indeed incalculable
And You lavish this love in the same immeasurable manner on all
What can we say Lord, what can we say?
We who You graced with the ability
To be stewards and owners of all which is Your property
We who You adorned with nothing but Yourself
That we may know You and all Your work and live for Your Almighty Self
We who You named as the most important of all Your creation
And granted us the privilege to understand Your worlds and ways and partake of Your family
The only ones in whom You dwell and with whom You reside
That we may show forth Your glory and in You abide
We who You have blessed that we may have mystic sweet communion and amazing interactions with You
Who else can we call Father Lord save You?
The Never-ending Father
You who knew us when we were but nuclei
You who formed us in the womb and oversee our growth even to the point of noticing every falling and dead cell
You Who wrote down our full life’s purpose before the ages begun
You Who made everything by and for Your Son
Are the true epitome of love
The exact paradigm of Fatherhood
