Words Poem by kobby godgift

Words

Words, words
So subtle yet so powerful
Seemingly frail and feeble but actually authoritative and mighty
Amazingly mysterious yet indubitably lucid
Unseen and invisible yet commanding all things appearing and vivid
Unfathomable and at the same time so comprehensible
Impossible to grasp though they be so within reach
How are they framed? We wonder
How are they chosen? We inquire
What Divine permutations created these beauties?
Which mortal techniques made these beasties?
Alas we continually desire to apprehend
Yea our eternal heartbeat is to comprehend
The veil that binds the intent of the heart and mind though they be boundless
Words, by which all things are concealed and manifested

Oh the blessedness of words
Oh the cursedness of words
Ah how sweet and beautiful they can be
Yea how painful and rotten they can be
Death and life
Natural and spirit
All lay in the power of the tongue, yea of words
Words are spirit, words be spirit
Designed to strike unseen musical cords in the realms they operate
Able to create the most perfect of melodies
And the most unpleasantly horrible chaos and cacophonies
To the sorrowing ear, soothes like the first cry of a newborn to the travailing mother
To the downcast and broken-hearted, comes as the uplifter and blessed mender
Within thee is the power both to build and to destroy
Choose life this day oh thou in my employ

How can an unseen force be so mighty?
What is the source of this undeniable ability?
The Word of God, the Word of God
The one unadulterated truth by whom all things consist, subsist and exist
And indeed all words have no power save by He who reigns Eternal
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by The Word of God
He is the Source of all power inherent in any thought, spoken or written word
Indeed the Word of God hath indwelling ability to perform and accomplish all
The Governor of worlds both seen and unseen
The Creator of realms visible and invisible
Whether there be thrones and dominions
Principalities and powers all things were made by Him and for Him
Without Him was not anything made that was made
For in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God
And the Word was very God of very God

Why hath God invested so much in words?
Why must all things seen and unseen be ruled by words?
For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell
That in the Son, the Word of God, should all fullness of the Godhead bodily dwell
So also we see words doing all things in the realms
They harness things from both heaven above and hell beneath
All things are at our disposal by words
We say what we want and we attain to them
Say what you don't want and it flees from you
A mystery they are, words
Mysteriously woven into the universe, these
The universe and all things within are themselves upheld by the Word of His power
Without words there is nothing
Without words nothing can be
For truly the expression of God's idea, thought, intent, purpose and dream is but a Word

Words are immortal
For though they that uttered them be dead, they live on
Words are eternal
For though many have perished because of them, they continue
Men have risen with great power and authority
Men are rising against the tides and these are formidable
Men will verily rise in the days to come with eternity backing them
And how have they, do they or will they do so?
By words!
For all these have entered something of the thought of God
They have come to a certain knowledge of words
They have understood how words are chosen and framed
These be the great poets and orators, men of renown
Death and life be in the power of the tongue, therefore choose life, and enjoy the fruits thereof
Yea, that you may not perish but live on with your words in that eternal land of lights.
