Eleise Queensbury

Father - Poem by Eleise Queensbury

A man who loves me unconditionally
Who makes sure I am well
Who gives me his undivided attention
When I have something to tell

A man who shows me
How to be strong
Who makes me feel better
When my day has been very long

A man who calls me
The apple of his eyes
Who tells me be my own person
Always reach for the sky

A man who is there
When no one else will bother
He is strong, intelligent and generous
This man is my FATHER
