Father Sergey Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Father Sergey

In silence
He stood with plea
“Oh father in heaven forgive me.”

The Charred Church in blaze
And Priest unable; in glaze
“I’ve done this.”

He knew; was aware
Tear swelled in his eyes
It was time; realized

There he, sent for teaching
Children, preaching
Deep in him was cheating

The nymphs and nymphets
All of them innocent
Their bodies like rose-buds

He lost head
He lost heart
He picked one at a time

He cleaned and washed them
Then in bed; placed them
And raped each and harmed them

In fire he could see
There was a wide screen
The Satan screamed

“That is me our Father
That fire I deserve
But you said you pardon.”

Charred was church and blazed
In his eyes the tears
No-one knew but himself
