Fear Poem by Ariel Geer

Touch my tears with your lips
Taste my fear with your kiss
Feel my pain with your eyes
and hold my close as I cry
Smell the blood that drenches my face
I smile but every inch is out of place
Hear the breaking of bones as I hit the floor
Watch me cry out but in silence, screaming no more
Grasp the strength as these hands clasp my wrists
Feel me take each blow from these pounding fists
See the bruises on my legs and arms
As each wound is opened and sealed with scars
Each eye is lined with water from tears
You beat me harder and I watch in fear
