Fear Poem by Alex Adeoye

Fear

Rating: 4.0

The day Ifeared most
Is not the day I woke up
To dark night from nightmare
The day I fear most
Is not even the day
I escape hit and run motor accident
The day I feared most
Is not the day I was beaten
By strangers when my friends
Left me without a defense
The day I feared most
Is not the day my best friend
lied against me in public
And came to apologize later
The day I feared most
Is indeed,
the day I realized
My brothers are envious of me.

'The day I feared most Is indeed, the day I realized My brothers are envious of me' - Fratricidal jealousy and the consequential ill feeling have haunted mankind from the very beginning. It is dangerous. In the present days, brothers' wives sometimes add fuel to the fire.
