Fear Of Me Poem by Ravinder Kumar Soni

Fear Of Me

Rating: 5.0

‘Strange, very strange,
You show no fear of me, '
He said, trapped in a cage,
‘You do not cower or kneel before me.
Where did I go wrong when I am
The most bloodthirsty creature alive;
Who are you who is so unafraid of me? '

After a brief lull, a voice broke out aloud -
‘I am you
Excepting me, everyone fears you;
I feed your pride.'
