FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN! ! !

I've Been trying to remember,
The last thing you said.
And for every time I tried,
I have always failed.

I wish that I could spend,
Sometime in your heart.
Maybe I would comprehend,
How much love we share apart.

I wish that I could fill
Every silence with your voice.
As a punctuation or better still,
As a song if I had the choice.

Even though you try to hide
How badly you love me.
The fragments of it that reside
In your smiles I can still see.

Wait; did I just say you care?
How am I even sure? ?
That whenever I'm not there,
Our thoughts both concur! ?

So if I ask 'do you love me? ',
Would you happily give a response?
Would the answer sting like a bee?
Or would you change the topic at once?

I guess someday I will find out.
And shunt the fear of the unknown.
For now I'll let my mind shout.
Till the hidden finally is shown.
