ଆକାଶକୁ ଡରି Fearing The Sky
ଆକାଶକୁ ଡରି ମାରିଲି ଲଂଫ,
ହାୟ, ପଡିଲି ଖଜୁରଗଛ ଉପରେ।
ଖଜୁରଗଛକୁ କଲି ଅଭିମାନ,
ଯାଇ ରହିଲି ଖରସି ଭିତରେ।
English rendering;
Fearing the sky
I jumped over,
Bu alas, I fell
On date palm tree.
Overweening the date palm tree
I stayed there in cow-dung.
