The narrator spoke
'She fed her 3 horses that morning'
Hippophagy...
a tragedy

While it is probable that the author meant that she
fed 3 horses in the stable,
horse slaughter occurs at Texas slaughterhouses
and the horse pieces are sent to France and other
hippophagous countries
