Feeling Lonely Poem by Amani AlSaddiq

Am I alone with all of you here?
Are my needs not noticed, whilst you hold each other so dear?
Can we sit together and chat like real family?
Or will I be a burden right down to the end?
Is sharing with me something not thought of?
I can't stand alone without friendship or love.
These questions I raise have lingered in my heart,
For I'm trying to reach out, somehow I've gotten lost.
So if any one of you has real true compassion,
Please come to my aid, I need human companions.
