Feeling Love Poem by Matt Roberts-Ward

Feeling Love

How do you spell love piglet, you dont spell it you feel it, pooh

Love is in the everyday ups and downs of life
It is appreciating the beauty of living
Seeing the untold time and energy doing
Being in awe of what unfolds before you

Love is not a spelling or arduous task to complete
It is a feeling of gratitude and wonder
Delighting in the journey, however long it takes
Knowing that you are never alone

Love is the capacity to allow mistakes
Watching you fall, and get up again
Letting you discover the strength needed
Holding back from interference

Love is being kind and nurturing
Celebrating your achievements no matter how small
Giving you the lift when things dont go to plan
Holding your hand and supporting you always

Love is disagreeing with you through fear
Observing you grow and feeling left behind
Wanting to help but not knowing how
Being helpless as life takes you away

Love is accepting an illness
Staring, as you become different
Witnessing the difficulties you face and being powerless
Feeling as though you are loosing the person you know

Love is the bond between two people
Connecting you over time and space
