Feelings Of A 'Dead Alive' Poem by Soumya Dash

Feelings Of A 'Dead Alive'

He was lying there inside his own coffin
Yet he knew he wasn't really dead
Lungs weren't there, heart had stopped breathing
Yet he could feel 'something' inside his head.

'Something', that vibrated rigorously
yet no one could see outside
Desires started to build up ceaselessly
yet his body ached for a long-long ride....

Motionless though he was...nothing appeared to move
Flawless body, blood was changing its color from red..
Emotions still he had, also something called 'Love'..
Declared 'Clinically Dead'...but he knew, he wasn't really dead.

What could he do? nothing was there for him
Even his body wasn't his now, even God perhaps...
Life played some jokes.. wanted to stop the dream
Yet he believed in God...God could save him perhaps....

Buried inside four feet of soil...Darkness everywhere
Yet he could see a light, light from 'Somewhere'!
That hope for light.. kept him still alive
And he continues to live in that coffin.....
for years.... He has been dead yet alive....
