Feigned Dislike! Poem by Dr.V.K. Kanniappan

Feigned Dislike!

One gets delightful
While he gets a sumptuous feast!

It is more delightful
While the food he had taken is digested
Without upsetting his digestion and health

Than how delightful he was
While he had eaten stomach full!

Similarly
In playing love,

It is more delightful
While the wife pretends
Feigned dislike for sometime,
(As if she is not interested)
Making the partner to long for love
Than the actual union!
