how are you
my friend? i have not heard
from you for long

once, i told you
never to overdo it but hardheaded
as you are
you have never learned
how to listen

how are you my friend
i hope that you are fine
and living
to the full to the promises
of life

how are you my friend
i have not heard about you for long
but this i hear and from
the warden

you are in prison and
for years now, and i hope that you
must by now,
know how to listen.
