Feline Trick Poem by Pilgrim WILLIAMS

Feline Trick

Rating: 5.0

I have a cat
whose favourite trick
is being very quietly sick
This would not be so tiresome if
she didn't always come and sniff
and try to give my face a lick
just after she'd been sick
And when my friends are slow to leave
She'll puke a hairball on their sleeve
It isn't every cat that knows
Just how to keep one on ones toes

It's a lovely narrative piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely encapsulated with good rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing Pilgrim. Please read my poem CHILDREN OF CRUEL FATE.

Cats particularly like to present us with unpleasant things in full view and and also to make their feelings plain. This poem seeks to inject a bit of gentle humour into some of the unpleasantness we put up with when allowing cats into our homes.
