The moment you said hi
But our friends disagreed
They had other plans
You wanted to dance
And so did I
They asked you too
You said yes
They never told me
Until after
But I wasn't ready
And they knew it
I stood you up
Told you I was sorry
Broke your heart
Begged for forgiveness
