Fettered Love Poem by Dr John Celes

Fettered Love

A fairy gave her heart
To one she loved in truth,
And fettered stays all life,
Awaiting lover’s word.
Time fleets in vain in days;
In bridal dress, she waits;
Her love for him is strong;
She’s ready to wait long.
with Hope as her one friend!
