Fifty Shades Of Gray Poem by Bill Wright

Fifty Shades Of Gray

While I was on my walk today,
As far as the eye could see,
The sky above and the sea below,
Were fifty shades of gray.

The wind was blowing from the north,
But not too strong for me,
I like to feel it in my face,
And hear the raging sea.

I love the tinkling of the stones,
As the waves crash on the shore,
And listen to the gulls above,
While on the gusts they soar.

We are blessed along this coast,
With all that we can see,
Mother Nature on parade,
A show for you and me.

Don't despair if things get tough,
Just go down to the prom today,
And watch the elements put on a show,
With their fifty shades of gray.
