Fight - Poem by Samantha Cooney
Wanting you to believe, to believe in me,
Slamming the door and not saying goodbye,
Seeing the tears falling from my eyes,
Would I ever be that little girl that will be able to please?
Years and years of heartache and pain,
Knowing now its time to not take the blame.
Words shouted, voices clouded
Seeing all the love I still hold,
Trying now to be so bold.
