Frozen Poem by Samantha Cooney

Frozen

Rating: 4.7

Tears frozen like ice to my face,
And you still look at me with so much disgrace.
With ice blocking this lost soul,
No longer losing all control.

I gave my life away
There is nothing left to say,
When the ice begins to melt,
Knowing everything that I once felt.

Trusting what I lost,
Realizing love has such a cost.
Winter has come and gone,
Still knowing its you for whom I long.
