Once there was a day
My nerves were alive, via
Not a dropp to flow;
My senses were tuned, yet
Not a breeze to note
For it was meant, so the world said.
Once there was a day
My boundaries were eaten
By none but me;
Whom to question, when
The convict lies within
For it was meant, so the world said.
Once there was a day
The dictator took my throne, and
I was thrown. My soul behind
Wondering why
The world tore me apart
For it was meant, so the world said.
Once there was a day
The Clouds thundered to chunks,
Shading Immature red amidst
The eternal blue, and
Whirling lissome ever since.
For it was meant, so the world said.
Once there was a day
I knit with jute, speeding
Across every penny, and
Now with all to survive, yet
None to love
For it was meant, so the world said.
Once there was a day
I counted hours, as seconds
They were, helped me less
For time had passed, and
Now I felt.
For it was meant, so the world said.
Once there was a day
For you and me to live
But now we rest
On the floors, cause
We have wrung
For it was meant, so the world said.
Once there was a day
Every prayer voiced the same.
And then I knew, what
The potion had been
Meager love but survival alone
For it was meant, so the world said.
For Once there must be a day
Humans turn humans
Humanity pledges humanity
Life respects life, and then
Lets’ expect our fly
For it is meant so, the world would see.
