Anger compresses in his chest, maybe it's what fuels the rest,
Fear is real, but only because it's his favourite choice of meal,
Unimaginable pain, or just comfort in his own disdain,
He has no plight, a reason for him no to fight
Lost in finding solutions to the unexplained, terrified the answer, is in the word deranged
A reservoir of tears, as he combats to silence his minds ears,
Medication gives him little rests, only to complicate how he sees and digests
Yearning to believe someone has the key, he's too delusional to think it could be thee
A fight which he cannot contender, his only hope is that he has the courage to surrender
