Final Farewell Poem by Narender Singh Bansal

Final Farewell

Rating: 5.0

Cry of pain
was from
world of sorrows

The son wanted
to hug him
see him.

The wife wanted
to keep him

Still final goodbye
had to be done

The body was heavy
as the
soul has left.

The body had to be lighted
as the
soul has left.

" The body was heavy as the soul has left. " when a part of the whole has left, the rest should be lighter. But, though the fact remains what you said, the juxtaposing of facts makes poetry. Nice

An extremely poignant account. Death leaves a void and a trail of sadness.

It's a very insightful piece of poetry! The last two stanzas made me analyze the powerful expression! Thanks for sharing.....10
