This is a poem for a great friend.
Dear man I love you so, but I just could never see it happening.
And it pains me to know that you think otherwise.
Not to say never but never shall our lips come in great union.
Never shall I hold that hand, or carry your young.
I don’t want to let you down, but we are from two different worlds.
Everyday will go by and you’ll find someone that befits you in the ways you need.
But know it’s hard to bare this hurt that we will both feel in the end.
Ruining worlds is always tragic.
Over and over it will run in my head the No I said.
Wondering when the No will come up, I know it will kill.
Now may I kiss my husband and you be there happy for me?
