When they told me I'd get over it
I laughed

When they told me...
When they told me.

They told me and I didn't believe them
I laughed

I laughed and I laughed...
And I laughed some more.

And then one day I turned around.
I laughed and said no more.

And they told me I'd get over it

They told me...
They told me.

But what they forget to say
Was the one day we'd meet again.

And we did...
