I lit a match
I watched it burn
It fell through a latch
And made the world turn
I froze the fire
And made it turn cold
As it began to tire
It made the world old
I held the smoke
In the palm of my hand
While the heat burnt my cloak
With the only fire in the land
The Cinder and ashe
Fell to the earth
And with a great flash
Joined the flame in the hearth.
I lit up the world
I watched it raze
The sky high flames twirled
In the heat of my gaze.
