Fire's angry flames ablaze
As fires rage and roar again
A hungry lion disturbed
Looking to devour and satisfy
A hunger that devastates
Innocent lives and livelihoods
Anything in it's path along the way
No mercy no rhyme no reasoning
With this angry force to be reckoned with
It's on fire and sees only red
Ambers and yellows plead their case
Hoping it to surrender and lie down
to Containment
He is vast and mighty
Swore to win this war
Of Destruction...
Mercy and Grace fall to their knees
Pleading, Please! Please!
Please, Fire, Please!
Slow to hear
Ever near
All being lost
He cries out in defense
Then falls...to his knees
What must I do to repent?
Surrender your soul!
He gets down humbly and lower
Cowering to the formations
The chosen...firemen seeming few
Stand in a unified row
A mighty fight went on that night
As fire accepted defeat
Carrying the cross...for the first time
He sees the devastation and loss
He caused
Making an honorable move
To speak to sparks and lightening and rain
And to those firemen who ministered to his pain
Promising next time to be on their side
Of the firefighting line
When he lights up again
As a ring of fire
To help and to serve
One fire down
One less fire on Earth
One by one
Each flame each flicker done
Hope remain
