Flame Of Trust Poem by Robert Siney

Flame Of Trust

There’s so much to say but it all seems so wrong;
Just misconstrued holograms of sincerity.
I know a flame of trust still burns in your heart;
A brave symbol of your underestimated strength.

I always see the dark clouds before they appear;
The shadow cannot disguise my love.
Wanting less but needing more;
Your complexity never asked for understanding.

Let’s hold on to our laughter;
For we’ll miss it when it’s gone.
You succumb to numb but not tonight my darling;
I’ll hold your hand while we’re still warm.

We can’t wait for destiny to save us;
Our time is almost over.
But even when the lights go out;
Just have faith in the flame.
