Flames Of Forgiveness. Poem by Dyllan Martin

Flames Of Forgiveness.

Red, yellow and white,
Dance around my head,
Heating up the night,
Pondering on words unsaid,
Smashed glass crumbles into oblivion,
The black hole in my own home,
More like my heart,
But that's made of stone,
And ice,
In the presence of the flames my heart starts to melt,
Then reminds me of what i came here for,
Come one, come all to this tragic scene,
People gather,
Minds as twisted as my own,
A face amoungst the crowd,
It's him I came to forget,
And now he'll see the specticle,
The main event,
My undoing,
Unravelling,
Like a carnival freak,
Jeered at by smirks and giggles of the crowds,
Cut open and torn to shreads,
So here go's nothing,
Step towards the dancing embers,
A piercing scream then blank.

All is forgiven.
