Flash Back
I'm standing in the rain
broken hearted
trying to forget the pain.
But I flash back to that night
sprinklez of rain
that fell so far to the pavement.
As I walked you to your car
to say goodbye
never had it been so far.
You picked me up and held me
while in your arms
I felt safe, cared for, and happy.
But I snap back to reality
where I'm
Alone, Scared, and lonely
