Fleeting Moments Poem by Rommel Galicia

Fleeting Moments

My mortal existence's a toll to face
No wonder a leaf falls with autumn
A cloudy sky is cleared by the rains
Begets the rays of the heaven's sun

A life is shining like that of a candle
Its incandescence is just a moment
In a vast darkness shall it all prevail
Till a glimpse of a dawn is imminent

Fear not for what shall may all come
As all shall may be a season to pass
Regret not the moment of your doom
As the wisdom of it shall you amass

Be fallen to the deepest of affections
As love's somehow a fleeting moment
The enchantment one may feel once
Or twice henceforth belie and lament.
