Flight Of The Imagination - Poem by Brea Cubit

I’m not sure how I got here
But I’m glad that I did
Because it’s a parallel world
There’s nothing I would forbid

I start looking around
While walking down the street
People are smiling!
And the air is so sweet!

I see no sorrow
Or stress in people’s faces
All I see is joy
As well as warm embraces

My eyes are lit up
And my spirits are high
Nothing can go wrong
Because here I can’t cry

Uh-oh something is happening
I feel a sudden quake
But it is only because
I am now awake
