Flight Tale Poem by Heath Muchena

Flight Tale

pretty swallow

sing your little song

‘fore you cleave the air

not the one of sorrow

sing your happy song

it always soothes I swear

where you go

I know not

but wish you'd take me there

to your paradise

some kinda Mauritius

a land of swallowtails and dodos
