Flirting Hibiscus (Part 1) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Flirting Hibiscus (Part 1)

The early morning dew
Gently bathe this hibiscus
As it gradually unfolds its whorls
To greet the day morn
Like a maiden at puberty

A beauty so tender
Is delicate like the butterfly's wing
As it struck every passing eyes
Who admires the creation of nature
Like this flower for all.
