Floating Wonder Poem by Michael Ruhl

Floating Wonder

This is my ambition,
Just a cradle of coziness,
As I lay there like a feather,
Getting swiped off my feet,
To the clouds of heaven,
My breath is caught by tranquility,
In this memory of natural sympathy,
Glancing at the evident stars above,
To sprout my divine wings,
Soaring with a rapid breeze,
Let me relax with a serene vision,
Under a tall weeping willow,
Laying there in a golden dream,
Where all my beauty comes to life,
Then realizing a striving desire,
While in a gentle state of experience,
It’s just me and my cozy hammock,
There's a spirit in the sky now...
