Florida Poem by Joy Thacker

Florida

Many long years ago-I had the urge to roam-Far far away-From my dear childhood home-Florida-Florida, Florida-The state where I was born-Early in the Springtime-On a bright sunny morn-in Florida-I lived awhile up north-I also lived out West-The state I love the best-The Sunshine state-Florida-My hair has now turned gray-My age shows on my face-I'll spend my twlight years-In my favorite place-Florida.
