Flower Flour Bower - Poem by Idris El Asha

Love and life begin and end with the same letter

From now on
At every nightfall
When I lie on my pillow
I'll send to every lonely widow
A stalk of flower

From now on
At every mouthful
I'm going to swallow
I'll fetch for every starving fellow
A sack of flour

From now on
At my every downfall
Like a seed you winnow
I'll be to every land that's fallow
A stack of bower

From now on
I'll believe in love
And go on
