Flowering Easterettes Poem by michael Smajda

Flowering Easterettes

All the flowers, dear, you've planted from seed
Have fully blossomed this Easter Day.
Because of your green-thumb talents,
Daffodils and tulips, in the wind, now sway.

I want to thank you for this memorable view,
Watching you kneel before God, with love,
Planting all these perennial Easterettes
You have left behind, must admire from above.
