Flowers Poem by Jasmine Thompson

Flowers

the fragrance fills the parlor room
you can't smell the death now.
They bring her body in
dressed up but still old.
People cry, I hurry by
scared of what is to come.
Spring is here but death still fills the air
as the beautiful flowers bloom.
