The god of death came to me
And begged me to save his soul
The darkness had taken him
So I took it into me

Fly! Fly!
Fly away from the darkness

More of them came to me
I could not turn them away
I took the darkness into me
Giving them the peace they deserved

Fly! Fly!
Fly far away from me

The more I took
The more the darkness ate at me
But I decided to save their souls
And continued to take

Fly! Fly!
Fly and be at peace

By the time the souls were gone
I was completed consumed
My skin dark as night
But I was at peace
I had saved their souls
