Foe Not Friend Poem by somebody else

Foe Not Friend

With the devil you may like to dance,
but he'll step on your toes, given any chance.
Because a conscience, he truly does lack,
so ensure, you never turn your back.
He is very devious and ever so cruel,
creating devices designed to fool.
To get you in the grave, is the goal,
for then to him, shall belong your soul.
The definition of evil, truly is he,
and desires to inflict, much pain on thee.
No other is there, that could care less for you,
and all your happiness, does he pursue.
He is void of love, and so full of hate,
if it were anyone else, I'd pity his state.
And though everything about you, does he know,
he is not your friend, just the ultimate foe,
So wise it would be, a better partner to find,
one much more caring, and not so unkind.
