Foes Are An Index Of Your Steadfastness Poem by Dr John Celes

Foes Are An Index Of Your Steadfastness

When we've been friendly, problems still occur;
Because we adjust, we have many friends;
We need not always agree with others;
We have our special convictions /background!

A friendly person still will have some foes;
Foes emerge because of differences rife;
You cannot toe others' lines all the time;
Sometimes, you may have to put your foot down!

Birds of the same feather flock together!
We have to be steadfast in life always;
The more, your foes, the more firm you have been;
Foes are an index of your steadfastness!

We cannot be a lamb unto all wolves!
We have to disagree if needs arise;
Our conduct must reflect our character;
We have to heed our conscience and our God!
