Fog Of The Mind Poem by Paul Hughes

Fog Of The Mind

Unkempt and abandoned,
My mind is an empty town
Submerged in the greyest Fog,
Overgrown and moss embrowned

Abandon thought ye who enter,
The mind here enshrouds in dense smoke
Exit roads remain unfinished
Engulfed in a boundless grey cloak

The Fog swallows up the past and
Present here, as memories wilt
Untouched bricks lie in scattered piles
For towers that were never built
