Fog's Out Poem by Jackson State

Fog's Out

Trigger finger slips
The rifle's barrel strips
A curse finds it mark
Illuminates the dark
Strikes hard
against sleeping guard
A permanent end
He couldn't defend
The endless war
He will shutter no more
Away cogs machine
Ambling now on fields of green
