Follow Your Dreams - Poem by Pat Jerseys
Around the age of 10 I started having a dream,
About being a Dairy Farmer, working with the animals as a team.
As the years went by and I grew older,
The dream grew more powerful, the vision more bolder.
It took a long time, a lot of sweat, fears, and tears,
But, the dream became a reality, now my cattle are always near.
For a woman to be a dairy farmer I am told,
Is to be hard to the core and sometimes very bold.
A person should be able to do what they want to in life,
No matter if you are man, woman, without husband or wife.
So if you have a dream with a special gift or talent to go with it,
Reach out, stay with it, for after some time you can fulfill it.
My dream came true after a lot of long days,
Now Pat's Oil City Jersey's are here to stay.
